The Flanders Fields Shirt short sleeve t-shirt
This Canadian Military tribute shirt features the World's most famous war memorial poem "In Flanders Fields" written by Lt Col John McCrae on May 3rd 1915, during the second Battle of Ypres. The poem is the reason that we wear a poppy during remembrance week to honour Canadians who died in battle.
The back of the shirt features a Canadian Soldier of the PPCLI (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry) kneeling at the grave of a friend at the United Nations Cemetery during the Korean War, (which is best known as the “Forgotten War").
At present, the shirt lists Canadian conflicts from the War of 1812 to Libya in 2011. We did our best to ensure the dates are accurate.
